As his life fills with mock exams, cross country races, a bully and an unrequited crush, it looks as if the next four weeks will be nothing but dreary. But when he stumbles across a Fatecube – a box with the alleged ability to predict one’s destiny – he's able to take control of his day-to-day struggles; dodging illnesses, winning competitions and earning the attention of the girl he likes.
