With mysterious, moody pieces, and bright, hopeful harmonies: this cabaret takes a worthy spotlight. Featuring a diverse range of well-known songs from Disney to Golden Age classics, DULOG's annual cabaret offers performers the opportunity to shine on the Assembly Rooms stage.

This event takes place at the Sir Thomas Allen Assembly Rooms Theatre, 40 N Bailey, Durham, DH1 1JQ.

The show will begin at 7.30pm and last approximatey two and a half hours with interval. Doors will open 30 minutes before the show begins.

Durham University Classical Ensemble presents Beethoven's 4th Symphony with a selection of other pieces from the Baroque and Classical period.

Durham University Classical Ensemble present an evening of music in St Oswald's Church. The programme opens with Weber's dramatic Der Freischütz Overture, followed by Bach’s Orchestral Suite No.2 and Vivaldi's Concerto for Two Trumpets, featuring soloists Tom Parker and Bronwen Roberts.  Following this, two works by Beethoven; the 4th movement of his Wind Octet and the entirety of the lively, often underappreciated 4th symphony, will conclude the concert.
