Rocket and First are teaming up to bring you ‘milk teeth’ by Maariya Khalid and ‘Incremental’ by Max Shanagher, a student writing double-bill exploring the depths of the human psyche.

Following her (hot) therapist’s advice, Zenab buys a doll to reconnect with her inner child. But the moment she takes it out the box, she can’t help but feel a strange connection to it. ‘milk teeth’ is about lost love, motherhood, and loneliness, showcasing how quickly a woman can unravel.

Marcus and Sophia walk into a shop. This simple premise is explored to its absurdist extent in an existential play where audiences watch a scene unfold repeatedly with incremental changes. ‘Incremental’ explores power dynamics within relationships and the extent to which even the smallest of changes can have monumental effects...

This autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning composer of Rent, is the story of a composer and the sacrifices that he made to achieve his big break in theatre. His girlfriend wants to get married and move out of the city, his best friend is making big bucks on Madison Avenue and, yet, Jon is still waiting on tables and trying to write the great American musical. Set in 1990, this compelling story of personal discovery and pop/ rock score, featuring a three person cast, will have you laughing and crying, all within ninety minutes!
