The Inter University Musical Theatre Competition (IUMTF) is a national musical theatre competition in the UK for universities to showcase their best musical theatre talent. Universities will compete in three categories, going head to head to be crowned IUMTF champion 2024

The Inter University Musical Theatre Competition Committee are please to bring you the 2024 Inter University Musical Theatre Competition hosted by Durham University, the 2023 IUMTF champions. The 2023 theme....It's Good To Be Bad; Friends and Foes.

Durham are pleased to be hosting the UK's only national musical theatre competition for universities in our resident theatre, the Sir Thomas Allen Assembly Rooms Theatre. The competition aims to showcase the greatest national musical theatre talent as six universities go head to head to be crowned IUMTF 2024 Champions and host next year's competition. Judged by three industry professionals, this is a unique opportunity for all involved to dazzle the judges and their peers, to gain valuable feedback from industry superstars!
