New Music - Reflections and Space

New Music - Reflections and Space

The Ives Ensemble will be celebrating MUSICON’s fiftieth anniversary with a series of concerts that express their affinity with and deep commitment to music in and from Durham.  In the recent past, Durham has also become a centre for contemporary music – more composers in this versatile and pioneering field are based here than anywhere else in the North-East. Over three concerts this internationally renowned and distinguished group will perform works by no less than six composers who form part of the recent musical fabric of Durham.
