Assembly Rooms Theatre, Durham
theatre that speaks volumes
To be conscious of our surroundings, ourselves and our community. A time where we enable debate in today’s society, aiming to showcase thought-provoking pieces.
‘Conscious’ - a term that can be open to interpretation, but we aim to point it in the direction of politics, race, identity, social class and self-awareness. To be conscious of our surroundings, ourselves and our community. This showcase will feel relaxed, not as cosmetic but where you as the audience can sit and think about the monologues and their messages. Eight performers bringing forth the light to important issues and how as societies members can change, gain or detach from these perceptions. Come watch on the 22nd of May where you can really listen and engage into important modern day theatre.
