Dunelm presents one of the earliest Great British choral works, Handel's Messiah. It will be conducted by guest conductor Daniel Cook.
Dunelm Consort and Players' first concert of the academic year is the biggest project that we have ever attempted. Handel's Messiah, originally written for Easter, is a two hour long baroque masterpiece for choir and orchestra that has become the cornerstone of a British Choral Christmas.
With the involvement of an all student soloist line-up, and maestro Daniel Cook as guest conductor, this will be Durham city' only Messiah performance for the 2023 Christmas season.
